Ladies and gentlemen, I apologize very much for not making any posts, but my computer has been acting up for the last few weeks. I am also not sure how long it will be like this. So until I know exactly what is going on, and how long I might be without it (it is in a very bad state) I will be making posts when I can, on Facebook and here there will be no pictures, and anything like that. Sorry for not posting for quite a long while, but thats because I've been having too much fun to have anytime to post! Where do I begin? I've done a lott of stuff. I have started school, made some new friends, been places with friends, took part in my schools sports fesival doing Kumitai (balanced acrobatics), I've met my next host family already, and so much more that I don't have enough space to write it all! Over the next couple days I will post about all of the details. Just not tomorrow. After school I'm going to Kagoshima with the other exchange students for Kareoke... wish me luck!

A little side note; to all of my friends and family back home, I miss you all. You are family to me (especially my family XD) and I hope all of my 12th grade friends have an awesome grade 12. All done school now, eh? That was quick. And to my family... well... thank you for all the support you've given me. I may have a hard time saying it, but I do love you all. Ok I must go now. Dinner is ready. But remember to spread the word of this site to friends who may be interested!!

home at last

I am finall living with my host family now! The family is is very welcoming and it is a very nice house. It may not be the biggest house, but I think it is amazing. On my first day, I was flying over here and then I stayed in a hotel that night. On the second day, I went to another hotel and met all of the other exchange students in my district. There are 3 others. They are from France, Mexico, and Sweden. That night we went with a lot of Rotarians to see fireworks at a festvail. I already cannot wait to see them again! Yesterday was an exciting day. All of us (the exchange students) went and met our host families. My family is very nice. The only problem we have is the language. I speak very little Japanese, and they speak very little English. But we are working it out. Today, I believe that we are going to a book store in the "Big City" as they call it. I will keep you all posted!!! Remember, share the site!!

So some of you are probably wondering, did he die on the plane or something that would explain why I haven't posted. But no, I'm alright and in Japan!! I have now been here for almost 36 hours and I already think this place is awesome!! I will post sometime later today or tomorrow, and let you know what is going on over here!!

Final 24

I have a big announcment to make... I have less than 24 hours left in Canada! The time is almost here to go and get on my first flight. This is getting very exciting and I can't wait to get on the plane!!

Almost time...

I am proud to say that I am officially into my final week of the wait. In 7 days, I will be on a plane heading towards Japan! In the mean time, I guess I'd better start packing, eh?

T- Minus 10!

Ladies ,gentlemen, and other... I now have less than 10 days left in Canada. I'm getting very excited for my upcoming exchange! My parents are having a farewell party thing for me with a lot of my family and some of my close friends. I know I'm 9 days away, but I can already tell I'm going to miss everyone, and I mean everyone. So on that note, I'll post later, and don't forget to follow the blog and also spread the word!

I officially have booked my plane tickets, and am leaving on the 22nd!! 22 days left!!

The Countdown begins!!!

So good news everyone!! The countdown for when I leave has finally begun! I have my new laptop, I've made contact with my first host family, and I know what will be happening the first few days that I am there! Only 23 days left!!!

Day one in Ottawa

Ok so. Sorry for the wait but my internet wasn't quite working right. So on the first day of the weekend, it was really just picking people up at their stops along the road to Ottawa. We stopped for lunch at some random highway stop, park thing. And of course, somebody got out a soccer ball, and for about 20 minutes, some of us started kicking a ball around and moving our legs (I was on the bus for about 6 hours B| ). After we all finished we got back on the bus, we kept motoring on towards Ottawa. I wont bore you with the details of the rest of the bus ride. When we finally got there, one of the first things we did was turn on the soccer game! It was a pretty good game, if I do say so myself. When that was finished, we went and played some more soccer! Come back for part 2! Tomorrow!!

Ottawa Rotary Weekend

Well hello! Long time no post, eh? I know. Dont remind me. So anyways, this past four days I have been in Ottawa (our nations capital) with all the outbound and inbound students. We had an amazing four days in Ottawa. I will just roughly say what we did, and I will explain in more detail over the next few days. So we went to Quebec, walked through Parliment, got our fancy bright red blazers (I'll post a picture later on), and a whole lot more things like museums. I will probably explain day by day maybe every other day. So make sure to come back in two days to read about what we did on saturday!!!

So as you can see, I'm having a little bit of a hard time remembering to post at least once a week. So anyways, about this speech... I am making it in just over 2 days! It has been a fairly rough time trying to memorize it completely, but I think I got it... almost.

So today I was told, that when I go to North Bay with the rest of the Outbounds, I have to make a 2 minute presentation in Japanese! This is going to be very hard to get two sentences, let alone two minutes! Any suggestions?
